RULES AND REGULATIONS
Tractors 35 years and older for Members and Guests
1: All contestants pull at their own risk and should carry at least 2 million dollars in liability insurance.
2: Weight of tractor includes driver. Driver must be at least 16 years of age.
3: Contestants shall not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
4: No helpers allowed on the track or on tractor during pulling.
5: All tractors must have a muffling device. (Straight pipes will be allowed)
6: Drawbar must not exceed 20 inches in height or be less than 18 inches from the center of axle to pulling point.
7: Officials may test any tractor for factory RPM. (100 RPM over only) no wire or string on governor.
8: Tractors must have stock block or manufacturer replacement parts (to owner’s manual).
9: No tractor shall have duals, tire chains or cut tires.
10: Tractor maybe asked to be reweighed.
11: Gas, diesel or LP fuels only. No alcohol or nitrous oxide fuels or additives may be used in tractor.
12: Tractor must be in neutral while being hooked and unhooked.
13: Driver shall remain seated during the pull and be in complete control of tractor at all times.
14: Tractor operated in an unsafe manner will be disqualified or banned from subsequent pulls at official’s discretion.
15: Any tractor or puller found to be unsafe or illegal may be disqualified or barred from hooking.
16: Any part or weight falling off the tractor after being hooked and until the tractor is unhooked will result in disqualification.
17: Contact point of tractor and sled must remain in bounds at all times. Out of bounds will result in disqualification. No measure will be taken after disqualification.
18: Pull is over when forward motion has ended and all tractors must stop immediately upon signal from official flagmen.
19: A tractor may only pull once in each class. Pull promoter decides number of classes each tractor may enter in excess of two.
20: First puller in each class may pull again in 3rd position if not happy with 1st pull, the 2nd pull counts.
21: All pulls must start with tight hitch. No jerking permitted. Contestants will be allowed two consecutive attempts and 50 feet to start sled.
22: If tractor jumps out of gear or stops because of engine failure your distance is marked at that point.
23: If a “Pulling tractor” should develop engine failure it may drop out and pull again at the end of that class as determined (SAFE) to do so by Club officials.
24: No weights on tractor platform or behind the axle.
25: A no higher than 6 mile per hour speed limit will be in effect for tractors pulling.
26: Due to rain cancelling any classes, registration monies will not be refunded.
